CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) led the successful conduct of the Heroes Run 2024 today, August 31 at the Lapu-Lapu Grandstand, here.
Aimed at supporting the Philippine Uniformed Services Sports League, the event was open to runners under various categories such as; 400M for kids, 3KM run, 5KM run, and 10KM run.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Andres Dominic Lacbayo from the Political Affairs Office of Senator Juan Miguel F. Zubiri, attending on behalf of Senator Zubiri. Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel J1 Major General Rommel P Roldan PAF, meanwhile led the AFP and demonstrating the organization’s dedication to the cause.
The funds raised will ensure the ongoing success of Uniformed Services sports and fitness programs, which are vital for the health and morale of uniformed personnel.///
