CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) formally installed Colonel Ben Domingo III as the new Commander of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Commissary and Exchange Service (AFPCES) in a Change of Command Ceremony held today, here.
The AFP Deputy Chief of Staff LtGen Rommel P Roldan, presided over the event and acknowledged the exemplary leadership of outgoing Acting Commander, Lt. Colonel Vanessa Angela Samudio. He expressed his gratitude for her dedicated service and lauded her contributions in ensuring uninterrupted support to AFP personnel and their families.

Succeeding Lt. Colonel Samudio is Colonel Domingo, who previously served as the Command Inspector General of the Philippine Army’s Support Command (SPTCOM). He also held the position of Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training, G8, at the Army Support Command (ASCOM). A proud member of the Philippine Military Academy “Masinag” Class of 1998, Colonel Domingo now takes on his new role with a commitment to building on the foundations laid by his predecessor.

With the transition of leadership, the AFP looks forward to further strengthening AFPCES operations in support of its mission to uplift the morale and well-being of military personnel and their dependents.
