CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – Thirty-five (35) newly promoted generals and flag officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) took their oath before President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on February 20 at the Malacañan Palace, reiterating their sworn allegiance to the Constitution.
Vice Admiral Jose Ma Ambrosio Q Ezpeleta PN, Flag Officer in Command, Philippine Navy led the senior officers to include nine (9) lieutenants who graduated Foreign Pre-Commission Training Institutions (FPCTI) in the United States, Japan and Korea.

Honorable Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr., Secretary of National Defense and General Romeo S Brawner Jr. PA, Chief of Staff of the AFP, attended the event.

The newly-promoted officers composed of three (3) Lieutenant Generals, ten (10) Major Generals, and twenty-two (22) Brigadier Generals, embraced the responsibilities of leadership in protecting the people and the state.

The oath-taking ceremony marked the official assumption of their ranks and designations, symbolizing their commitment to the noble profession of arms.///
