

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Sulong Peace Incorporated (SPI) to advance human rights advocacies on Tuesday, April 5.
The AFP Chief of Staff, General Andres C Centino, signed the agreement in a ceremony held at the General Headquarters Building in Camp Aguinaldo. Representing the SPI was Ms. Joeven Reyes-Escober, Executive Director.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) rendered military honors to World War II Veteran and Centenarian Juan Aquino Jacob, who passed away less than a month shy of his 102nd birthday.
Private Jacob, who died on March 27, 2022, was given final tribute and honors befitting a hero at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani in Taguig City on April 2, 2022.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – After years of delay due to the pandemic, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) finally inaugurated the newly-constructed Corps of Professors Building in Camp Aguinaldo on Monday, April 4.
The two-storey building will serve as the Office of the Dean, Corps of Professors, AFP (ODCOP, AFP) led by Colonel Stephen V Agtoto. It was a project passed down to him by former deans and pioneering members of the ODCOP, AFP headed by Brigadier General Archimedes Viaje in 2011.
