CAMP AGUINALDO, QUEZON CITY – Combined troops of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the United States Indo-Pacific Command are currently building a school facility in Masi Elementary School, Rizal, Cagayan as part of the Engineering Civic Action Project (ENCAP) of the Balikatan.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City - To reaffirm the military’s commitment to a secure and peaceful national and local elections, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) joined other participants in the Peace Covenant signing held at the 8th Infantry Division headquarters in Camp General Vicente Lukban, Catbalogan, Samar on March 29.

“I commit to our people that as Chief of Staff of the AFP, we will ensure credible and safe elections as directed by President Rodrigo Duterte. We will be there to assure that you will be safe and secure on election day,” AFP Chief of Staff, General Andres Centino said.

Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City – Basilan-based Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) members headed by notorious ASG sub-leader Abdullah Indanan surrendered to the Joint Task Force (JTF) Basilan / 101st Inf Bde on March 29.

According to Lt. Gen. Alfredo Rosarrio, Jr., Commander of Western Mindanao Command (WESMINCOM), ASG sub-leader Abdullah Indanan, a.k.a. Guro and ten other ASG members submitted themselves to JTF Basilan Commander, Brig. Gen. Domingo Gobway in Barangay Serongon, Hadji Mohammad Ajul, Basilan. This faction of the ASG operates in Lamitan-Tuburan-Mohammad Adjul complex.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City - For gallantry in action against the communist terrorist group (CTG), four Army troopers were awarded by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff, Tuesday in Samar.

General Andres C Centino, AFP Chief of Staff conferred the Gold Cross Medals to 1st Lieutenant Adonis Collado, Sergeant Vincent Bulan, and Corporal Ernesto Nuñez in a ceremony held at the 8th Infantry Division headquarters in Catbalogan, Samar.
