CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines through the Philippine Navy (PN) and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) conducted the first bilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity (MCA) on August 2, 2024, in the West Philippine Sea. This activity was part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen regional and international cooperation towards realizing a free and open Indo-Pacific.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), in collaboration with the United States Navy, held a Maritime Cooperative Activity on Wednesday afternoon, July 31, in the West Philippine Sea.
The activity was held inside the Philippine exclusive economic zone, in the waters west of Palawan. It featured the USS Mobile (LCS 26) and the BRP Ramon Alcaraz (PS16).
CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—Brigadier General Guillaume Thomas of the French Air Force made a courtesy visit to the AFP General Headquarters here on July 29, where he was welcomed and met by Lieutenant General Charlton Sean Gaerlan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
