CSAFP VISITS MILITARY PATIENTS, LEADS AFP MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM ADVOCACY LAUNCHING

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), General Romeo S Brawner Jr PA, visited military patients and led the launching of the AFP Mental Health Program Advocacy on December 06 at the Victoriano Luna Medical Center (VLMC).

The CSAFP’s visit aims to personally check on and boost the morale of patients admitted at the VLMC and to officially launch the AFP Mental Health Program Advocacy with the goal of promoting mental health awareness.

CSAFP ORDERS TROOPS IN MARAWI CITY TO GO AFTER TERROR SUSPECTS

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines seeks to wrap up operations against the Daulah Islamiyah and the perpetrators of the terrorist attack at the Mindanao State University (MSU) in Marawi City on December 3.

General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the AFP, led the Command Conference on December 4 with senior military officers from the General Headquarters and top commanders in the Western Mindanao Command where he relayed the orders of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr in response to the terrorist attack.

AFP Statement on the Marawi Explosion

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) strongly condemns the heinous act of terror that transpired in Mindanao State University (MSU), Marawi City, on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
 
At approximately 7:14 a.m., during the first Sunday of Advent mass attended by students and teachers, an explosion rocked the Dimaporo Gymnasium, resulting in the loss of four lives and injury of at least 50 individuals.

Army Shooting Team bags medals in ASEAN Rifle Meet

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — The Philippine Army Shooting Contingent (PASCON) brought home medals from the 31st Association of South East Asian (ASEAN) Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) hosted by the Royal Thai Army on November 16-25, 2023 at the Infantry Center, Prachuap, Khiri Khan (Hua Hin), Thailand.

AFP, ADF aircraft conduct joint air patrol in WPS

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — Pilots and crew from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Australian Defence Force (ADF) successfully performed a joint air patrol in the West Philippine Sea on November 26, 2023.
 
The Philippine Air Force's A29B Super Tucano, N-22 Nomad, Philippine Navy's BNI2A aircraft, and Australian Defence Force's P-8 Poseidon Maritime Surveillance aircraft demonstrated cooperation and camaraderie as part of the AFP-ADF Maritime Cooperative Activity (MCA).
 
The AFP-ADF MCA aims to enhance maritime interoperability and deepen the PH-AUS strategic partnership as signed by President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in September.///
