CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City - The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) welcomed its new Secretary Joint Staff in a ceremony held on Friday, September 16.

Colonel Wilfredo B Manalang III PA(GSC) assumed his new position replacing Colonel Von Albert M Sumergido PA(GSC) during a Change of Chief of Office conducted at the Silid Lapu-Lapu, AFP General Headquarters Building.

Galido, Commander of Joint Task Force Central and 6ID, welcomed the President, along with Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines Lieutenant General Bartolome Vicente O Bacarro and Commander of Western Mindanao Command, Lt. Gen. Alfredo V. Rosario Jr., at the home of the Kampilan Troopers, where the country's highest official was also accorded with military honors upon his arrival at the 6ID Headquarters.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines is set to improve health and medical services to its personnel with the construction of a three-storey hospital building.

AFP Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Bartolome Vicente O Bacarro led the groundbreaking ceremony for the new building of Camp General Nakar Station Hospital on Wednesday, September 14, at the Headquarters of the Southern Luzon Command in Lucena, Quezon.
