CSAFP dons higher ranks to 9 AFP Generals and Senior Officers

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), General Andres C Centino PA, administered the donning of ranks ceremony to nine (9) AFP Generals and Senior Officers on April 12, 2023, at the General Headquarters.

Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General are MGen Charlton Sean M Gaerlan PN(M), the incumbent The Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP (TDCSAFP), and MGen Fernyl G Buca PAF, Commander of the Northern Luzon Command.

Camp Aquino, Tarlac City, April 13, 2023 - The ongoing Balikatan exercises 38-23 at Colonel Ernesto Ravina Air Base (CERAB) in Crow Valley, Sta. Juliana, Capas, Tarlac, is a big help for small businesses and to the livelihood of the residents of said town after allowing them to set up their food, souvenir, and barber stalls near the area.

The CERAB in Capas, Tarlac, is among the sites for live fire training for Balikatan Exercise 38-23 in Northern Luzon Command Joint Operational Area.

The Chief of Staff, AFP General Andres C Centino PA, warmly welcomes the three-time UNTV Cup champions AFP Cavaliers during their courtesy visit at the CSAFP Quarters in Camp Aguinaldo on April 13. The team, led by their head coach Sonny Manucat, is fresh from their victory against the Ombudsman Graftbusters in Season 9 of the UNTV Cup.

Major General Gabriel C Viray III PA, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations (CMO), J7 administers the donning of rank ceremony to United States Marine Lance Corporal Paley M Fenner today, April 13.

Lance Corporal Fenner was promoted to Corporal while serving as a Combined Joint Information Bureau (CJIB) member of the PH-US Balikatan Exercise 38-2023. PH and US military personnel witnessed the simple but memorable ceremony at the J7 Office in Camp Aguinaldo Quezon City.
