AFP achieves enhanced capabilities in AJEX DAGITPA 2022

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has achieved its targets in enhancing interoperability and readiness in joint operations as it ends this year’s AFP Joint Exercise DAGITPA (Dagat, Langit, Lupa) on Friday, November 18.

The AFP Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Bartolome Vicente Bacarro who represented Department of National Defense Senior Undersecretary Jose Faustino Jr. presided over the closing ceremony held at Camp Aguinaldo.

CHANGE OF CHIEF OF OFFICE

The Office for Strategic Studies and Strategy Management (OSSSM) welcomes its new chief on Monday, November 14, in a joint Change of Chief of Office and Retirement Ceremony presided by The Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP VAdm Rommel Anthony SD Reyes at the General Headquarters, AFP.

BGen Edgardo C Palma relinquished his post as Chief, OSSSM to Col Haroun-al Rashid I Jaji after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 56 and over 35 years of outstanding military service.

AFP holds Live Fire drill in Palawan

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) conducted the Combined Arms and Littoral Live Fire Exercise (CALLFEX) demonstration as part of the AFP Joint Exercise (AJEX) “DAGIT-PA” on November 15, 2022 at Punta Baja, Rizal, Palawan.

The CALLFEX seeks to enhance the interoperability of Army forces with other branches of service in Joint and Combined Arms operations. It aims to improve the synchronization and integration of available assets, especially in providing support to ground forces to defeat the enemy.

AFP JOINS KADIWA NG PASKO LAUNCHING

The Armed Forces of the Philippines joins the nationwide launching of the Kadiwa ng Pasko at the Wellness Center inside Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City on Wednesday, November 16.

Kadiwa ng Pasko project is an initiative of the national government led by the Department of Agriculture aimed at providing a market to the country’s local agricultural producers while at the same time giving the public access to affordable and high-quality products during this yuletide season.
