The Armed Forces of the Philippines, through the Philippine Army Reserve Command (RESCOM), and the University of the Philippines Diliman held a “Freedom March” on Araw ng Kagitingan, bringing together over a thousand ROTC cadets, reservists, veterans, and faculty in a patriotic display of unity.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) joined the nation in commemorating the 83rd Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) on April 9 at the historic Mt. Samat National Shrine in Pilar, Bataan. The ceremony honored the sacrifices of Filipino heroes and served as a call to not only remember the past but to actively work towards a stronger and more united Philippines.
In pursuit of continued modernization, the Armed Forces of the Philippines welcomed its newest and most advanced naval asset, the BRP Miguel Malvar (FFG-06), in a formal ceremony today at the Naval Operating Base in Subic, Zambales.
