CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is set to significantly ramp up its modernization efforts with plans to procure more missile systems, warships, and multi-role fighter jets as it moves toward completing its air and missile defense integration. This initiative was outlined by AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S. Brawner Jr. during his historic participation in the Raisina Dialogue held from 17 to 19 March 2025 in New Delhi, India.
Combined Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore (CJLOTS) operations reached a critical phase on 09 April 2025, with the arrival of Major General Franciso Lorenzo Jr PA, Commander of Armed Forces of the Philippines Education, Training, and Doctrine Command (AFPETDC), and Brigadier General Michael Logico PA, Deputy Commander of Philippine Army’s Training Command, in Dingalan, Aurora to monitor exercise progress and evaluate logistics coordination.
