CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, visited on March 18 the wake for soldiers killed in action at the headquarters of the 6th Infantry Division in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.
The CSAFP also extended his condolences to the families of the four military personnel--identified the fallen troops as Private Marvin Dumaguing, Private Jessie James Corpuz, Private First Class Carl Araña, and Corporal Creszaldy Espartero--who were ambushed by the Dawlah Islamiyah-Hassan Group in Datu Hoffer.
CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, who is celebrating his birthday today, March 18, visited the Special Forces Regiment based in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.
The CSAFP, who is sharing a birthday with the late President and founder of the Special Forces in the AFP, lauded the progress of the regiment since it started as the First Special Forces Company in 1962. He also reiterated his call for a united and strong AFP.
The Armed Forces of the Philippines extends its condolences to the families and loved ones left behind by four of our brave soldiers killed in an attack perpetrated by the terrorist Dawla Islamiyah - Hassan Group in Datu Hoffer Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur on Sunday, March 17.
The AFP vows to hunt down the perpetrators and neutralize these ruthless killers to finally put a stop to their violent acts that disrupt peace and stability in the region.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—LtGen Charlton Sean Gaerlan, The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, received celebrity reservists Major Jose Sixto “Dingdong” Dantes and CMO2 Kristine Ann Lim at the AFP General Headquarters during their courtesy visit on March 15.
During their visit, the Philippine Navy and CMO2 Lim also turned over two art pieces from her Bridging Horizons project aimed at promoting diplomacy and civil-military operations through cultural and artistic exchange reserve force participation.
