Two communities in Northern Luzon have benefited from newly completed infrastructure projects, the result of a strong partnership between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military under Exercise Balikatan 40-25.
Two newly completed infrastructure projects—a two-classroom school building and a community health center—were formally turned over to their respective communities in Brooke’s Point on May 7 and in Rizal, Palawan on May 8, 2025, under the Humanitarian Civic Assistance (HCA) component of Exercise Balikatan 40-25.
In pursuit of deepening inter-agency cooperation on human rights, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the AFP Center for Law of Armed Conflict (AFPCLOAC), and the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) held a signing of a renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) on May 8, here.
In one of many morale-boosting activities, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and United States Forces held a fun shoot on May 7, energizing Exercise Balikatan 40-25 with camaraderie, competitive spirit, and cooperation among service members.
