PH, US forces successfully conduct joint training under Maritime Cooperative Activity

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) successfully completed the second Maritime Cooperative Activity (MCA) on January 3-4, 2024.
 
The second and final day of the joint maritime exercise was marked by the performance of cross-deck maneuvers or personnel transfers, demonstrating the competencies and effectiveness of both naval forces. It also emphasized the ability of the AFP and USINDOPACOM to work seamlessly together, highlighting their expertise and readiness. The exercise also conducted a thorough communications check before concluding the activity.

AFP, USINDOPACOM holds 2nd maritime cooperative activity in WPS

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) commence the second iteration of the maritime cooperative activity in the West Philippine Sea from January 3 to 4, 2024.

The 2-day bilateral event will conduct passing exercises, communication checks, cross-deck exercises, joint patrols, Officer of the Watch (OW) maneuvers, and fixed-wing flight operations.
