CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), General Romeo S Brawner Jr on September 28, 2024, returned to the 103rd Infantry Brigade in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur where he once served as Brigade Commander during the Marawi siege.
CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- In a significant demonstration of international collaboration, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), together with the armed and defense forces of Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and United States, successfully conducted a one-day Multilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity (MMCA) on September 28, 2024, within the Philippines' Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
The combined armed and defense forces of Australia, Japan, New Zealand, the Philippines, and the United States, demonstrating a collective commitment to strengthen regional and international cooperation in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific, will conduct a Multilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity within the Philippines’ Exclusive Economic Zone on September 28, 2024.
CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—LtGen Charlton Sean Gaerlan, The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (TDCSAFP), welcomes Lieutenant General Nagumo Kenichiro, Vice Chief of Staff of Japan Self-Defense Force, at the sidelines of the 5th Asian Defense, Security, and Crisis Management Exhibition and Conference (ADAS 2024) on September 27 in Pasay City. The two discussed the enduring Philippine-Japan defense and security partnership and committed to further enhancing military relations in pursuit of a rules-based international order.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), with support from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), delivered essential supplies and provisions to the personnel aboard the BRP Sierra Madre (LS 57) in Ayungin Shoal, and facilitated troop rotation on 26 September 2024.
The AFP will continue to perform its mandates in the West Philippine Sea, and provide full support and care for our stationed troops.
