CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City-- The Armed Forces of the Philippines and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs sat down in a dialogue on November 9 here as part of efforts to further strengthen coordination between the military and UN agencies and local and international non-government organizations in the country.
The meeting was led by BGen Arvin Lagamon, Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations, J7, and Manja Vidic, Head of OCHA Philippines. It featured presentations on protection principles and mainstreaming and UN OCHA's Anticipatory Action and Enhancing Resilient Communities Flagship Initiative.
