Soldiers told to stay united in CSAFP’s visit in Davao De Oro, Davao City

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, told soldiers of the 10th Infantry Division and the Eastern Mindanao Command on February 3 to stay united and be wary of enemy efforts to infiltrate various sectors of society and challenge the AFP and the nation’s unity.
 
In his message to the troops in Mawab, Davao De Oro and Panacan, Davao City, he said that he is confident in the loyalty and professionalism of every member of the AFP amid recent political developments.

AFP joins celebration of World Hijab Day 2024

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the Peace and Development Office, participated in the celebration of World Hijab Day 2024 with Senator Robinhood Padilla as the Guest of Honor and Speaker on February 01 at the Lapulapu Grandstand.
With the theme, “Embracing Diversity: Cultivating Peace and Development through Inclusivity,” the Chief of Staff, AFP, General Romeo S Brawner Jr., expressed his support for the celebration.

AFP Adjutant General’s Service celebrates 88 Years of Service

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Vice Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines (VCSAFP), LtGen Arthur Cordura PAF, joined the Office of The Adjutant General, AFP, in the celebration of the 88th Adjutant General’s Service (AGS) Anniversary on February 01 at the General Headquarters.
 
Officers, Enlisted Personnel, and Civilian Human Resources, as well as stakeholders, were given recognition during the celebration, which focused on the theme, “88 Years of Service Excellence: Navigating Time with Unwavering Quality.”

AFP concludes 2023 with resounding victories, sets goals for 2024

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – As 2023 ends, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) looks back on a year marked by notable achievements, reaffirming its commitment to national security and regional peace. These accomplishments pave the way for a dynamic and capable AFP in 2024.
 
The AFP has achieved a significant milestone by dismantling eight and weakening 14 guerilla fronts of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG). As of December, there are no more active CTG guerilla fronts. The continued focused military operations have resulted in the neutralization of 67 high-value individuals who belong to communist and local terrorist groups. Among the top leaders neutralized are Dionisio Macabalo, also known as @Muling/Kardo, who was the Secretary of the North Central Mindanao Regional Committee, and Farahudin Pumbaya Pangalian, also known as @Abu Zacharia, who was the Amir of DI-Philippines and overall Amir Islamic State-East Asia.

AFP hosts Year-End 2023 National JPSCC Meeting

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) spearheaded the Year-End 2023 National Joint Peace and Security Coordinating Center (JPSCC) Meeting with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on January 30 at the General Headquarters.
 
The National JPSCC Meeting aims to discuss the significant accomplishments and planned activities of the six JPSCC Joint Cells: Joint Operations Cell, Joint Intelligence Cell, Joint Logistics Cell, Joint Civic-Community Relations Cell, Joint Legal and Investigation Cell, and Joint Education and Training Cell.
