CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—A series of military operations in Northern Samar that began in October this year resulted in the neutralization of a top communist terrorist of Eastern Visayas and 20 other members of the communist terrorist group (CTG).
The operation on November 23 at Barangay Imelda in the town of Las Navas resulted in the death of Helenita Pardales, known as the leader of the Eastern Visayas Regional Party Committee (EVRPC) of the CPP-NPA-NDF.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The AFP is hosting the fourth iteration of the ASEAN Military Medicine Conference (AMMC) on November 22 to 23 at the Crowne Plaza Manila with delegates from 14 countries across the world.
The AMMC is part of the Military Medicine Area of Cooperation under the ASEAN Defense Minister’s Meeting-Plus platform. This year’s conference adopts the theme, “Challenges, Breakthroughs, and Regional Cooperation,” and hopes to build on years of collaboration in strengthening the capabilities of military medical services.
