The Armed Forces of the Philippines lauds the designation of the National Democratic Front as a terrorist organization by the Anti-Terrorism Council.
It has been a long time coming.
The designation affirms the duplicity of the Communist Party of the Philippines that commands their armed group New People's Army and the so-called legal front that provides support for their terroristic activities.
We believe that this decision by our higher civilian authorities will significantly help our troops on the ground by preventing the operation of underground mass organizations that recruit and raise funds for the armed group.
We are now closer, more than ever, in achieving a complete victory against the CPP-NPA-NDF and in freeing our communities from the communist terrorist threat.///

The Armed Forces of the Philippines joins our Muslim brothers and sisters in commemorating the Feast of Sacrifice.
As we continue to face unprecedented challenges, we hope that every Muslim both here and elsewhere can find the time and space to strengthen our faith and spirit, to triumph over despair, and embrace a life dedicated to the service of those who are in need.
The nobility of this Feast was remarkably demonstrated in the people who responded to the survivors of the C-130 mishap in Sulu and have shown solidarity with us in one of the most tragic accidents of our organization.
We thank you wholeheartedly and vow to repay your kindness by continuing to put our lives on the line in ensuring the peaceful celebration of Eid'l Adha.
