CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – Following on the success of the 6th Multilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity (MMCA) held last week, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) once again joined forces with the defense forces of Canada and the United States in a continued effort to enhance regional security. The 7th MMCA, held on February 12, 2025, within the Philippines' Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), reaffirmed the nations' ongoing commitment to strengthen cooperation in ensuring peace and stability.
The combined armed and defense forces of the Philippines, Canada, and the United States, demonstrating a collective commitment to strengthen regional and international cooperation in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific, will conduct a Multilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity within the Philippines’ Exclusive Economic Zone on 12 February 2025.
