CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — The Commission on Appointments confirmed the ad interim appointments of 31 generals, flag officers, and senior military officers on February 4 in Pasay City, highlighting continued professional development within the leadership of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The approved promotions cover various ranks, including Lieutenant Generals, Major Generals, Brigadier Generals, Flag Officers, and Colonels. The batch of newly promoted officers is led by LtGen Antonio G Nafarrete, Commander of Western Mindanao Command (WESMINCOM).
The confirmation of the ad interim appointments of these officers reflects the AFP's commitment to upholding the highest standards of military professionalism, as well as their exceptional service to AFP’s operational effectiveness.
