BALIKATAN PROJECT IN ANTIQUE ON TRACK TO ITS TIMELINE

Camp Lapulapu, Cebu City – Members of the 18th Civil Engineer Group of the US Air Force and the 552nd Engineer Construction Battalion of the Phil. Army work shoulder to shoulder, as the Multi-purpose Hall project in Antique is on track to its completion by the end of the month.

The project is now 35% complete and the engineering works are now focused on the pouring of concrete for the roof beams and the installation of columns and scaffolding.

The Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), General Andres C Centino PA, visited the troops of the Joint Task Force – National Capital Region (JTF-NCR) on April 13. JTF-NCR Commander BGen Alexei Musñgi PA and his troops welcomed the CSAFP and party.

Gen Centino, Gen Yoshida share optimism in PH, Japan military relations

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City— Chief of Staff, AFP (CSAFP) General Andres C Centino and Chief of the Japan Self-Defense Forces General Yoshihide Yoshida expressed optimism in the future of Philippines-Japan military relations toward a free and open Indo-Pacific region during their video teleconference on April 13.

In the call, the two leaders affirmed their countries' shared commitment to uphold peace and prosperity, reinforce democratic resilience, and strengthen relations and alliances, considering both countries' strategic locations in the Indo-Pacific region.

AFP Corps of Engineers celebrates 86th Founding Anniversary

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines Corps of Engineers (AFPCOE) celebrated its 86th Founding Anniversary with the Chief of Staff, AFP (CSAFP), Gen. Andres C Centino PA, as the Guest of Honor on April 12 at the AFP Headquarters.

The Chief Engineer, AFP, MGen Proceso S Rebancos PA, led the Office of the Chief Engineer (OTCE) in welcoming the CSAFP during their anniversary celebration.

CSAFP dons higher ranks to 9 AFP Generals and Senior Officers

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), General Andres C Centino PA, administered the donning of ranks ceremony to nine (9) AFP Generals and Senior Officers on April 12, 2023, at the General Headquarters.

Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General are MGen Charlton Sean M Gaerlan PN(M), the incumbent The Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP (TDCSAFP), and MGen Fernyl G Buca PAF, Commander of the Northern Luzon Command.
