CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, visited the site of the Command Post Exercise of the 2023 AFP Joint Exercise Dagat, Langit, Lupa (AJEX DAGITPA) on November 13 here.
The CPX aims to train designated officers and enhance their understanding of the Joint Operations Process and Procedures, and further improve their capabilities and competencies in developing joint planning and execution and grasp of unit capabilities.
CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines through BRP Ramon Alcaraz (PS16), BRP Nestor Reinoso (PC380), NV320 Islander aircraft of the Philippine Navy (PN), and in collaboration with BRP Malapascua (MRRV-4403) of the Philippine Coast Guard successfully carried out Field Training Exercise on November 11, 2023 in Ilocos Norte to develop maritime cooperation and preparedness.
As part of the ongoing AFP Joint Exercises 'Dagat-Langit-Lupa' (AJEX DAGITPA), the activity demonstrated seamless collaboration between the Philippine Navy and the Philippine Coast Guard while showcasing the capabilities of military and coast guard assets. It also featured the active participation of the Special Operations Group from the PN and PCG Command in the Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) area of responsibility.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City-- The Armed Forces of the Philippines and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs sat down in a dialogue on November 9 here as part of efforts to further strengthen coordination between the military and UN agencies and local and international non-government organizations in the country.
The meeting was led by BGen Arvin Lagamon, Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations, J7, and Manja Vidic, Head of OCHA Philippines. It featured presentations on protection principles and mainstreaming and UN OCHA's Anticipatory Action and Enhancing Resilient Communities Flagship Initiative.
