CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Department of National Defense (DND) turned over 16 parcels of lands back to the Cebu Provincial Government in a ceremony held Monday, October 3.

The AFP Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Bartolome Vicente Bacarro and DND Senior Undersecretary and Officer-in-Charge Jose Faustino Jr graced the event at the Capitol Social Hall in Cebu City.

CAMP Aguinaldo, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Mindanao Humanitarian Volunteers for Peace Inc., (MHVP) formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement an ongoing partnership that delivers services in remote and conflict-affected communities in the country.

The agreement was signed on Monday, October 3, at the AFP General Headquarters by The Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP VAdm Rommel Anthony SD Reyes on behalf of the AFP Chief of Staff, and MHVP President Dr. Maria Theresa Heyrosa.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City - The Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU) and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) highlighted the significant developments on various peace tables during the OPAPRU-AFP Peace Symposium held Thursday, September 29 in Camp Aguinaldo.

Among those discussed are the government's peace accords with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), Cordillera Peoples Liberation Army (CPLA), and other peace-inclined groups including ending the local communist armed conflict in the country.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The 51st iteration of the Pacific Area Senior Officers Logistics Seminar (PASOLS) hosted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in Manila was concluded on Thursday, September 29.

The six-day activity held at the Conrad Manila in Pasay City resulted to productive discussions on overcoming common logistics problems and developing mutually beneficial solution among the participants.
