AFP, ADF meet ahead of Indo-Pacific Endeavor 2023

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City--The AFP and the Australian Defense Force (ADF) solidified their partnership ahead of the Indo-Pacific Endeavor 2023 (IPE23) scheduled in various countries, including the Philippines, from June to October this year.

Vice Chief of Staff, AFP LtGen Arthur Cordura met with the IPE23 Commander, Air Commodore Anthony McCormack, at the AFP General Headquarters today, 17 March. The ADF team for IPE23 is in the country to plan for the Philippine leg of the activity which is expected to be held in August. Primarily, IPE23 will focus on territorial defense and island maneuver operations.

The Deputy Chief of Staff wraps up 38 yrs of military service

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP (TDCSAFP), VAdm Rommel Anthony SD Reyes PN, was honored with a Testimonial Parade and Review as he bid farewell to the active military service in a Retirement Ceremony conducted at the General Headquarters on March 15.

AFP dedicates Air Force flights for personnel R&R

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines has dedicated transport flights to its personnel who avail of rest and recreation (R&R) after several months of deployment in far-flung areas.

A total of 41 troops who are deployed in the province of Sulu under the Philippine Army's 11th Infantry Division were transported through the Philippine Air Force C295 plane and brought to Isabela on March 15 to enjoy their much-deserved vacation with their families and loved ones. R&R is a privilege given to soldiers after long months of deployment and combat duty.

AFP welcomes UAE National Defense College Delegates

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — The Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff, General Andres Centino, welcomed the delegates of the Study Tour Visit of the National Defense College United Arab Emirates (NDC UAE) at the AFP General Headquarters on March 13, 2023.
 
In a brief meeting, the CSAFP greeted the 19-member UAE delegation headed by Brigadier Staff Pilot Khalifa Butti Thani Alshamsi.

15 new military nurses take an oath, 45 others don higher ranks

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Nurse Corps took their oaths and donned new ranks during the conduct of the Oathtaking and Donning of Ranks Ceremonies with The Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP (TDCSAFP), VAdm Rommel Anthony SD Reyes PN as the presiding officer on March 13 at the AFP Commissioned Officers Club.
 
The Chief Nurse, AFP, Colonel Ma. Dolores M Lim NC (MNSA) presented to the TDCSAFP 15 Newly-Ordered to Duty officers and 45 newly-promoted officers composed of 24 officers promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and 21 officers promoted to Major in the Nurse Corps (NC).With the duty to care for the well-being of the men and women of AFP, VAdm Reyes congratulated and thanked the newly-ordered duty and newly-promoted NC Officers for choosing to serve as military healthcare professionals.
