CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) continues to gain ground as sustained military operations  neutralized members of Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs) and Local Terrorist Groups (LTGs) across the country as of October this year. 

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines welcomed BGen Caroline Salahun, Director for Asia Pacific, Armament Directorate of France Ministry of Defense, during her courtesy visit on November 10 at the AFP General Headquarters here.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City-- The Armed Forces of the Philippines and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs sat down in a dialogue on November 9 here as part of efforts to further strengthen coordination between the military and UN agencies and local and international non-government organizations in the country.

The meeting was led by BGen Arvin Lagamon, Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations, J7, and Manja Vidic, Head of OCHA Philippines. It featured presentations on protection principles and mainstreaming and UN OCHA's Anticipatory Action and Enhancing Resilient Communities Flagship Initiative.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines, through the Office of the Chief, Special Service, AFP, formally closed the 2023 AFP-PNP-PCG-BFP-BJMP-BuCor Olympics with Commissioner Olivia “Bong” G. Coo of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) as the Guest of Honor and Speaker during a ceremony conducted on November 9 at the Lapu-Lapu Grandstand. 

Athletes from the Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Navy, Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) attended this year’s Olympics with the Philippine Army being hailed as the overall champion.
