AFP kicks off C4ISTAR EXPO 2023

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the Communications, Electronics and Information Systems Service, AFP (CEISSAFP), kicks off the Command and Control, Communications, Cybersecurity, Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (C4ISTAR) EXPO 2023 with The Vice Chief of Staff, AFP, LtGen Arthur M Cordura PAF as the Guest of Honor and Speaker on November 20 at the AFP Headquarters. 

Anchored to the theme: “The AFP Enhancing its Digital Battlefield: Adapting to the Future of Warfare,” the 2-day activity features lectures and exhibits that serve as an opportunity to engage with experts and explore the latest trends, developments, and breakthroughs in the cyber domain.

AFP culminates AJEX DAGITPA 2023

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines Joint Exercises Dagat-Langit-Lupa (AJEX DAGITPA) 2023 officially closed in a ceremony conducted with the Department of National Defense Senior Undersecretary Irineo Espino as the Guest of Honor and Speaker on November 17 at the General Headquarters.

The AJEX DAGITPA 07-2023 opened on November 6 and was participated by forces from the AFP’s Branches of Service.

Winners and finishers were awarded during the Technical and Administrative Services (TAS) Solidarity Fun Run on November 16 at the Lapulapu Grandstand.

AFP holds Technical and Admin Services Solidarity Fun Run

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Office of the Adjutant General (OTAG), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) conducted the Technical and Administrative Services (TAS) Solidarity Fun Run with The Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP, LtGen Charlton Sean Gaerlan PN(M) as the Guest of Honor and Speaker on November 16 at the Lapulapu Grandstand. 

With the theme: “Stride Together, Unite Forever: Stronger TAS for the AFP,” officers, enlisted personnel, Civilian Human Resources, and dependents from the TAS Corps/Service, General Headquarters, Unified Commands, AFP-Wide Support and Separate Units, and Major Services participated in the activity.

AFP conducts GAD Executive Briefing 2023

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines, through the Gender and Development Office, conducted a hybrid Executive Briefing to engage members of the AFP GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) on the AFP’s mainstreaming initiatives on November 15 here at the General Headquarters.

The GAD Executive Briefing was participated by the AFP and Major Services GFPS and the Chairpersons of the GAD Focal Point Committee (GFPC) from GHQ units and offices, Unified Commands, and AFP-Wide Support and Separate Units, with resource speakers from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) who discussed gender mainstreaming and strategies in the defense and security sector, and the Philippine National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security.
