CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines again told soldiers to stay united and strong for the country when he visited military units in Mindanao.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—In continuation of his visits to military units nationwide, General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, touched down in Visayas where he lauded the accomplishments of the Visayas Command in Cebu and the 301st Infantry Brigade in Iloilo.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, awarded medals to officers and enlisted personnel during his visit to the 103rd Infantry Brigade in Marawi City on February 21.

The soldiers, who received Gold and Silver Cross medals, were cited for their role in neutralizing members of the Dawlah Islamiyah-Maute Group responsible in the bombing at the Mindanao State University last December. 

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines visited and extended his condolences to the families of the six soldiers who were killed in action in Munai, Lanao Del Sur last February 18.

The CSAFP arrived at the headquarters of the 1st Infantry Division in Zamboanga Del Sur on February 20 where a vigil for the soldiers was being held. There he assured the families of the AFP’s full support and assistance.
