DND, AFP, and BCDA strengthen information exchange through forum on modernization

The leadership of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Department of National Defense (DND) aim to strengthen their public information capabilities by enhancing information exchange and linkages among them.

In a message read during the 26th AFP Forum hosted by the BCDA, former Defense Secretary and current BCDA Chairman Delfin N. Lorenzana stressed the significance of government communicators, especially in the defense and security sectors, as “bearers of truthful and accurate information”.

General Andres C Centino PA, The Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), served as the lecturer during the Field Study Visit of the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) Regular Course students of the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) at the AFP Headquarters today, May 10.

AFP, UP Manila forge partnership for training, cooperation

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Andres Centino, Chief of Staff of the AFP, and Dr Carmencita Padilla, Chancellor of the University of the Philippines-Manila, signed a Memorandum of Agreement on May 10 that will strengthen the partnership of the two institutions in promoting dental advocacy, education, and training in the country.
 
The MOA signed at the AFP General Headquarters will support the continuing education of military and civilian dentists of the AFP with the UPM College of Dentistry as the primary training provider. In return, the AFP through the Office of the Chief Dental Service will support the various dental community projects of UP.
